About

Come Back, Give Back

Your reunion year provides an excellent opportunity to support Boston College in a way that is meaningful to you. Your gift can be designated to financial aid, athletics, your school, or any initiative across the Heights.

Class Giving Counts!

All gifts made to BC during the fiscal year are recognized in the class total, which is measured in two ways: total dollars contributed and class participation rate. The fiscal year runs from June 1 through May 31, 2023.

There are many ways to support your class effort. Reunion giving recognizes contributions made to the Boston College Fund, as well as endowment gifts, capital gifts, and planned gifts, such as bequests.

You can make your payments online with a credit card, or you can give cash, stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares. You can document and be recognized for your planned gift by completing the Shaw Society form.

Why to support the your Reunion gift campaign:

  • It opens doors. A $10 gift from everyone celebrating a reunion in 2023 would provide enough funds for each reunion class to award a BC Fund scholarship to a deserving student.
  • To give our Eagles an edge. BC Athletics is dedicated to developing the whole student-athlete, strengthening both their bodies and their minds for peak performance.
  • Don’t forget your favorite orgs. Whether it’s PULSE, BC Band, the yearbook, University Chorale, or any other, groups and organizations are a huge part of student life.
  • Because the future is built now. Innovations abound at BC in the form of research programs and world-class facilities.
  • And the past is a great teacher. Remember that professor whose wise words had a profound impact on your career?
  • To honor your formative journey. Mission and Ministry’s signature programs and experiences help students find purpose through reflection, community, and service.
  • Service opportunities inspire a lifetime of giving back. Lasting memories are made on spring break, and we don’t just mean the ones in Cancun.
  • Because you’ve lived through Boston winters. A warm coat is something many of us take for granted, but not all BC students can say the same.
  • It makes your degree more valuable. Alumni giving is a key metric in determining where schools rank among the nation’s best universities.
