Gifts to School of Theology and Ministry contribute to...

It is an exciting moment for the School of Theology and Ministry. The School will be celebrating its 15th anniversary and Michael C. McCarthy, S.J. has just begun his leadership at the school as dean. A distinguished theologian, teaching scholar, and experienced university administrator, Fr. McCarthy brings more than 30 years of academic, administrative, and ministerial experience to his new position. He is eager to continue the STM's upward trajectory.
Gifts to the Dean's Innovation Fund for the School of Theology and Ministry will be instrumental in supporting Father McCarthy as he establishes and executes his vision for the school. Your support has a profound impact on many facets of STM, including:
Providing tuition remission for lay students. STM’s goal is to attract and retain the best future ministry cohort and ensure that the students with the greatest potential will attend Boston College regardless of their financial circumstances.
Helping fund Dean’s speaking events on a relevant theological topic, such as the Dean’s Colloquium. These events bring renowned academic experts to campus and enhance the reputation of the School.
Building new academic programs like courses and speakers for STM’s recently launched Spirituality Studies program.
Enhancing STM’s global imprint and international partnerships by helping graduate students and faculty travel internationally for workshops.
The world needs BC to be the best university it can be, but what does BC need you to be? You can answer that question by making a gift of any size for BC Giving Day from Thursday, March 30 through Friday, March 31.
