Gifts to The Clough School of Theology and Ministry contribute to...
For over 15 years, the Gloria L. and Charles I. Clough School of Theology and Ministry (CSTM) has prepared ministers, scholars, and leaders to serve the needs of the Church and the world. Along with the Theology Department in BC's Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, it is ranked 10th worldwide in theology, divinity, and religious studies by the QS Global rankings, and draws students from throughout the nation and more than 24 countries.
Gifts to the Dean's Innovation Fund for the Clough School of Theology and Ministry provide important unrestricted resources allowing Dean Michael McCarthy, S.J the flexibility to address the most pressing needs of students and faculty. Your support has a profound impact on many facets of CSTM, including:
- Providing tuition remission for lay students to attract and retain the best future ministry cohort and ensure that lay students with the greatest potential will attend Boston College regardless of their financial circumstances.
- Building new academic programs and experiences like sending a delegation of CSTM students to participate in the General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in Rome, a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage and opportunity to be part of Pope Francis’ call for renewal and synodality of the Church.
- Expanding student formation experiences such as retreats and other programs that provide opportunities to grow and flourish throughout the intellectual, spiritual, ministerial, and human dimensions of their lives.
- Helping support faculty research that impacts national and international scholarly conversations and enriches the students’ classroom experience.
