Gifts to Pine Manor Institute for Student Success contribute to...
The Pine Manor Institute for Student Success was established in 2020 following the integration of Boston College and Pine Manor College. The Pine Manor Institute provides support and opportunities for academic growth and personal enrichment to first-generation students with high financial need. The Pine Manor Institute's key pillars include:
- The Academy, a cost-free, post-secondary readiness program for students in grades 8-12. The Academy includes a summer enrichment program as well as school-year tutoring and mentoring.
- Mentoring and Academic Achievement, support programs for first-generation, high financial need, and underrepresented students at Boston College.
- Messina College, Boston College's fully-residential associate's degree program for first-generation, high financial need students.
- Alumni Outreach, coordinated initiatives for graduates featuring mentoring and success coaching.
