About

Support the Dean's Innovation Fund at the Woods College of Advancing Studies.

“Woods worked for me because it gave me the opportunity to follow my dream as an Entrepreneur. Having the ability to finish my undergraduate degree, whilst working on a startup proved to be extremely beneficial– and affordable. I would go to class at night and learn new skills to implement the next day with my team…

…Once you are in, you are a part of what I call the "family" because that's exactly what it feels like. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself and my family, and I am proud to call myself an Eagle Alum!”

- Domonique Dennis, BA in Corporate Systems, ‘19

As we look forward to celebrating the Woods College 100th anniversary in 2029, we reflect on nearly a century of fulfilling our mission: serving academically qualified students who seek a non-traditional college experience. Today, Woods offers 8 undergraduate majors and 19 graduate degrees and certificates with classes on the Chestnut Hill campus and online. Our diverse student body includes recent high school graduates, parents, veterans, community college graduates, and working professionals.

Philanthropic support is essential to the continued growth and success of the Woods College of Advancing Studies. Gifts to the Dean's Innovation Fund ensure that the dean has the resources to respond to pressing needs and the flexibility to be innovative and forward-thinking.

Did you know gifts to the Dean's Innovation Fund help provide:

  • Mission-driven curriculum and community including service learning in the classroom and the Woods for Others programming which focuses on student formation and community service.
  • Creative academic and support solutions for students who come to us with a variety of challenges and life obstacles
  • Opportunities for students to attend and present at academic conferences or retreats.
  • New degree and certificate programs, offered in formats that meet students' needs and prepare them for success.
  • Contributions from highly successful practitioners who ensure that the curriculum is current, rigorous, and imbued with ethics and a vision for service.

Thank you for considering a contribution to support our students and the future of Woods College!
