Gifts to Connell School of Nursing contribute to...
Dean Katherine Gregory's exciting vision for the Connell School:
“In 2026, let us embrace hope. It’s a discipline, a choice, and a powerful commitment to making a better world. Even in uncertain times, or rather, especially in uncertain times, your support is our most essential tool and our greatest gift to those we serve.”
A gift to the Dean’s Innovation Fund has ripple effects throughout the School, encouraging new initiatives, funding faculty and student research, and supporting innovative collaborations on campus and beyond. Your gift will help realize the dean’s vision of a school that prepares accomplished nurses to be compassionate leaders with the expertise and proficiency needed to transform health care.
💛 For 2025, U.S. News and World Report ranks the Connell School’s undergraduate nursing program as #13 in the country and #1 in Massachusetts for graduate nursing.
💛 46% of Connell School undergraduates are considered Montserrat-eligible (the highest level of financial need). A BC degree is especially meaningful to the Connell School’s growing population of high-need students, given the economic stability a nursing career provides and the high employment demand for nurses.
💛 The Connell School serves 451 undergraduate students and 321 graduate students.
💛 Roughly 43% of Connell School undergraduate students identify as AHANA, and 28% are first-generation college students.
💛 The School's international programs give students the chance to gain a greater understanding of global issues and the diversity of health care needs. This academic year, locations include Australia, Chile, Belize, and Switzerland.
