Calling all Eagles—your team needs you in the #SupportYourSport Giving Challenge! February 8–12, BC’s 31 varsity teams will compete to raise crucial funds for their equipment, nutrition, recruiting, travel, and other operating needs. Your donation during challenge week helps your team win their share of $100,000 in prize funds, generously donated by University Trustee David Griffith ’68 and Janet Griffith. Let the games begin!

Champion Challenges

$25,000 Alumni Champion

Team with the highest percentage of student-athlete alumni participation

$15,000 Recruiting Champion

Team with the highest number of unique, individual donors

$10,000 Impact Champion

Team with highest average gift size (minimum 100 donors)

$15,000 Alumni Runner-Up: Team with the second-highest percentage of student-athlete alumni participation

$10,000 Recruiting Runner-Up: Team with the second-highest number of unique, individual donors

$5,000 Impact Runner-Up: Team with the second-highest average gift size (minimum 100 donors)

*Pop-up challenges will be revealed throughout the week, so be sure to check each day for additional incentives!

Ways to help:

  • Make your gift: Participation is the name of the game. Current or former student-athlete giving counts toward the Alumni Champion contest. Gifts from non-student-athletes are eligible for the Recruiting Champion prize.
  • Spread the word: Use #SupportYourSport to get family, friends, and fellow alumni involved! Become an advocate on your team’s campaign page to get credit for spreading the word.
  • Up your game: Gifts of every amount help our student-athletes, but the team with the largest average gift has an opportunity to make an even bigger impact.
